A really nice trip out today. One of the few occasions that John Buntings little chapel on the edge of the North Yorkshire Moors was open to the public. Even bigger surprise to find his son Bernard there and giving a talk to a group which I covertly joined. The buildings were bigger than I expected, but the plot of land a little smaller, having no idea how big an acre is anyway! Cant quiet put my finger on why i feel drawn to this building so much, the soldier looks so peaceful like he was asleep. You can see the Henry Moor influence in Johns work.
